CBT Supervision
CBT Supervision
Being a CBT therapist can be incredibly rewarding, but let’s be honest — it can also be challenging. Whether you’re newly qualified or decades into your practice, having a space to reflect, refine, and recharge is invaluable. Supervision isn’t just a box to tick; it’s a core part of keeping your work sharp, your perspective fresh, and your well-being in check.

Therapists often carry the weight of their clients’ journeys, and sometimes that weight needs a place to go. With CBT supervision, we create a space to:

-
Discuss your cases openly and thoughtfully.
-
Unpack the challenges, wins, and moments that left you second-guessing.
-
Hone your CBT skills and techniques with constructive feedback.
-
Maintain a sense of balance, avoiding burnout while staying effective.

Supervision is your chance to pause, reflect, and ensure you’re providing the best possible support to your clients — and yourself. It’s not about judgment or ticking boxes; it’s about growth, connection, and continuous learning.

Supervision of Supervision (Meta-Supervision)

If you’re supervising other therapists, you need support, too. Providing supervision comes with its own challenges, and meta-supervision (or supervision of supervision) helps you navigate them. In this space, we can:

-
Reflect on the dynamics and challenges of your supervisory relationships.
-
Explore how to best support your supervisees while maintaining boundaries.
-
Enhance your skills as a supervisor, from giving feedback to managing complex cases.
-
Consider your own professional development and well-being within this role.

Meta-supervision offers a reflective, collaborative environment where you can fine-tune your supervision practice and ensure you’re growing right alongside the therapists you’re supporting.
Because supporting others — whether clients or therapists — works best when you feel supported, too.
